FAQ

Will my insurance cover my massage therapy treatments?
Mary Anne is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and most insurance providers require that as a pre-requisite for coverage. Please check with your individual insurance providers first to double check what your plan will cover. If you are covered, Mary Anne will provide a receipt with her RMT number for submission.

Can you put my name on the receipt, but treat my friend or family member instead of myself?
It is important that the information on the receipt issued is accurate with the treatment provided. Otherwise, it is considered insurance fraud. With the introduction of online treatment submissions, insurance companies are now routinely auditing to confirm the accuracy of receipt/treatment rendered.

Are massages safe?
There are certain contraindications that Mary Anne will assess you for before treatment. However, massage therapy is generally safe and can provide therapeutic relief for chronic tight areas, injury and stress.
